I took one of my troops out one day to go shoot some of my guns... We shot some trap and skeet. But i also bought some rounds for my .45 and my ccw .380. ( i like to practice as much as i can). Going to shoot on some of my private property by the way.. As some of you might know if your troop gets into trouble you as a supervisor gets into trouble. Anyway, he paid for his rounds ( shotgun & rifle) and then i tried to pay for my rounds... As a 26 year old, Having a concealed carry permit in two states, been to Iraq twice and Afghanistan twice and we are both still active duty, i wasnt allowed to purchase ammo for a handgun because he was standing next to me and he wasnt old enough to purchase it himself because he was 20. Ok i understand ther are some "rock eating" people out there that will buy some rim rod ammo for his illegally purchased gun. But seriously, why cant people use common sense and their own judgement some of the time.

This is one of many reasons I avoid Wal Mart like the plague.

funny part is at my local walmart last yr, i went in with a friend who was 19 at the time..i bought 9mm ammo,they never asked me for ID from either of us,just typed in a Birthdate(like ud do if someone with looking obviously over 50 were to try to buy it) and i was on my way...then i realized i needed paint to paint a part of my car,so picked up spray paint...get both of us get ID at the front registers...i was thinkin wtf?

And exactly what would the police do except maybe escort you out of the store? Walmart can refuse to sell anything to anyone and there is nothing illegal about it.
