Right to carry

What yall thing about the national right to carry ?
And
What states will adopt the law?

vincent 08-03-2012 04:27 AM

It'll be a shorter list of the states that WON'T adopt it...

MA, NY, IL, CA,

I think it infringes on states soverignty, some states have good reasons not to honor other states' permits...

The Gov't has no business infringing on individual states rights...

Just my .02

That's true! But i think if you law abiding gun owner you should b able to go anywhere with no problem.

Wait...isn't this a politcal topic?

Don't be surprised if this thread gets moved... you posted in the wrong forum

We already have a national right to carry, it's the Second Amendment.

Reciprocity makes sense, IMO. New York has no reciprocity with any other states. Imagine if that were the case for driver's licenses! :)

If McDonald v. Chicago incorporated 2A against the states, infringing on the right of individuals to keep (own) and bear (carry) arms (not just guns) is illegal. I fully expect New York and other states will continue to step on our rights for some time.
