Like it or not, when the chips are down and lives are at stake, an armed citizen can be the "first responder." People who don’t like guns invariably rely on people who have guns when their lives are in danger.

You don't have to worry about that south of Virginia. We don't tolerate that sh1T. Many states will follow in the lead of Wyoming and create state laws to circumvent the feds. If California can spite federal drug laws and they do nothing about it, they can't justify chasing after other states for shrugging them off on other legislation....not to mention trying to bypass Congress, the States, the people, even the constitution won't fly.

i fully believe that registration would be the first step in setting the stage for a firearms confiscation policy in the near future. once it starts with one type of firearm, it would eventially lead to the rest of them being illegally seized.

You can read all about this in many places. Turkey, Germany, Britain, they all started with 'gun control' and ended with confiscation and in many cases, war. Although I find the best example to be Switzerland, where full auto military rifles are in like 85% of homes....crime rates are low, and they've never been invaded....wonder why?
