Reciprocity Laws and Info

Any new laws or info on Reciprocity among the states?,Reciprocity is literally a "moving target." These laws change every year, and new reciprocity agreements are signed, or occasionally, revoked, on a continuing basis.

At this time, the following states do not issue concealed carry licenses, nor do they recognize those issued by other states: Illinois, Wisconsin, and the District of Columbia. Also, some states allow carry of different types of weapons (e.g. handguns, knives) while others are limited to handguns only.

I am not sure where you got the map from but it is neat. However, I belive that AL is a MAY Issue state. They issue to pretty much anyone that passes the background checks but they are still a May Issue state.
Here is the quote from the code of AL.
Quote:

The sheriff of a county, upon the application of any person residing in that county, may issue a qualified or unlimited license to such person to carry a pistol in a vehicle or concealed on or about his person within this state for not more than one year from date of issue, if it appears that the applicant has good reason to fear injury to his person or property or has any other proper reason for carrying a pistol, and that he is a suitable person to be so licensed.
