yeah same here,, i was looking forward to getting the wife that nice colt m4 from Walmart for 999,, but im not going to pay 3000+ for one,, maybe if it was a transferable full auto sure  this is just sickening to me

A little off topic, but, speaking of gouging.
I bought a box of .45 on Thursday. Fmj, plinking, 20 bucks for 50. Next day, went into my local gs, same stock on hand, same cost for dlr behind it, 42.00 a box.
That was gun broker on Beaverton hillsdale hwy.
Went to fishermans marine, still 20 a box. Needless to say I stocked up. Gun broker had removed pricing on all pistols, they all went up over night, though they had the stock on hand.
Can't blame em for making a buck, but damn.
