This was written/published on 11-27-2015. Is Rob just now figuring this out, or has he been living under a rock.

The fact that the Main Stream Media lies and is in the tank for the Democrat Party is nothing new and has been going on for as long as I can remember, I'm 60.

He focused on the lies in the Media as far as firearms and firearms deaths are concerned, but that is all he wrote about. The lies of the Media go much much deeper then just firearms and the Second Amendment.

The Sad thing is, guys like Rob spread the Media lies themselves. They get their information from the Main Stream Media and then write/comment, SPREAD it.

Funny how guys like Rob claim they can see through the Media bias when they talk/write about Democrats, but believe and spread everything this same media reports about a Republican.

Example.

Even worse, Romney signed a law to permanently ban many semi-automatic firearms.

Total Lie, spread by this same Ammoland, that dares to call others in the Media "liers".

Talk about the Pot-Calling-the-Kettle- Black, hey Rob. You and the Main Stream Media are one in the same, liers.

Everything I've seen, Romney did in fact sign the law. Are you suggesting he did not sign the MA law?
In July 2004, then-Governor Romney signed legislation into law that made Massachusetts' assault weapons ban permanent and not reliant on a federal ban that expired at the end of 2004. The state issued a press release at the time, in which Romney described assault weapons as "instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people."

http://mediamatters.org/blog/2012/10/16/will-media-fact-check-romneys-assault-weapons-b/190681
During his 2002 gubernatorial campaign, Romney had been a supporter of the federal assault weapons ban, and had also said he believed "in the rights of those who hunt to responsibly own and use firearms."[130] On July 1, 2004, Romney signed a permanent state ban on assault weapons, saying at the signing ceremony for the new law, "Deadly assault weapons have no place in Massachusetts. These guns are not made for recreation or self-defense. They are instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people."[131] The law extended a temporary measure that had been in effect since 1998 and covered weapons such as the AK-47, Uzi, and MAC-10.[131] The same law also modified some other aspects of general firearms licensing regulations.[131]

Here is the Original Bill signed by Cellucci in 1998.

https://malegislature.gov/Laws/SessionLaws/Acts/1998/Chapter180

Please find the section where this original Bill had an expiration date.

Ammoland quote.

The original Bill was already "Permanent" and was never set to expire.

Ammoland and GOA are no different then the MSM, Liars.

I think people have a genuine sense of guilt for helping reelect Obama by refusing to vote for Romney. Ever since 2012 they've been watching Obama's policies, and trying to prove to themselves that Romney was no good. As if it really matters anymore.

Always keep in mind that to the liberal no lie is to great nor no act to base if it serves their purpose and helps to achieve their destructive ends. To them the end justifies the means.

"The first sign of corruption in a society that is still alive is that the end justifies the means". George Bernanos

What matters is that these same tactics and lies that got Millions of voters(gun owners) to turn on Romney will be used again in the next election cycle.
It's important to understand that these so called "supporters of the Second" like GOA and Ammoland are in no way "supporters of the Second".

They will be the first to spread the Anti-Trump or Anti-Cruz lies and propaganda, causing millions of voters to "Again" stay home on election day, thus handing the Presidency to Hillary.

They have already planted the "seed" of doubt on Trump and his support for the Second.

http://www.ammoland.com/2015/10/is-trump-the-gunvoter-pick/#axzz3t6bq9vQm

Trump’s clear statement has been well received by supporters of gun rights, but before we all rush out to get “Trump for President” yard signs for our lawns, let’s look at what else Mr. trump has said about guns and gun control.

In his brief foray into presidential politics in 2000, Mr. Trump also expressed strong support for the Second Amendment, then backtracked offering caveats like support for expanded “background checks,” waiting periods, and banning so-called “assault weapons.” Those aren’t positions that serious GunVoters can get behind.

Perhaps Mr. Trump did some research on Second Amendment issues in the years since taking those positions, and has come to a more principled understanding of the issues. That is always a possibility, and I would never criticize someone seeking a position of trust for educating himself and revising a position based on what he learned. On the other hand, there is the real possibility that Donald Trump is simply pandering to GunVoters for purely political reasons. It is well known that GunVoters can be a powerful political constituency, and Trump is a master at providing red meat for special interest groups.

Should Trump get the nomination, Ammoland will bring this back to life, Big Time, add a few more comments and do whatever they can to bring Trump down, just as they did Romney.

So Romney signed a bill, that didn't do what he thought it would do and then did a press release bragging that he signed the bill that didn't do what he said it did?

Color me confused

Not confused, close minded. You're not willing to admit, even to yourself, that people can change. That something a man said 40 years ago is not necessarily what he believes today.

2002 and again in 2004 to Hannity is not 40 years ago

funny how people suddenly discover religion or pro gun stance before running for office. These Leopards seldom change their spots.

MI current R gov, doesn't even make RINO status, he's that much of a democrat. Running for office, "I believe in the 2nd Amendment", even the NRA granted him a B+ rating. He gets a failing grade from most gun owners today, and while slightly off topic, hasn't met a tax increase he doesn't support.

Can people change, absolutely. Hell i did, I was at best agnostic to firearms and rights... right up until an incident where i learned who was responsible for my family's safety.

When is a politician lying? LOL
