They want to include any shotgun with a threaded magazine tube cap in the ban. They reason a magazine extension can be quickly added. The Democrats are drunk with power after their leader was reelected. When they sober up we will be their hang over.

Default not only shotguns

The example was a popular pump shotgun. The thing that was going to
be banned under the new law was the magazine tube cap. That
which holds the barrel tight to the action CAN be removed and an extension tube be added to increase the magazine capacity. Ie easily modified.

That means all of those pump and or semi auto shotguns like benelli, browning, remington, winchester, beretta and a whole host of others will also be banned. I even have a magazine tube extension for my Benelli M2. (Works great when a whole flock of crows come in and commit suicide, plus the extra weight really helps keep the swing going).

I think the shotgun and the DP are a statement about how the mayor of New York has banned items as protected as a shotgun and as evil as a 2 liter cola product.

They haven't baned pump action shotguns in the UK even with its strict firearms controls. It will be bad if they succeed in baning them in some American states.

Hi Manta, I keep hearing about the crime rate and increase of victims on sky news. People complaining about protecting themselves, but do not have the means. Some who do find themselves prosecuted. This is proof that gun bans do not work, and that crime rate skyrockets. How can the normal Joe protect themselves and what are some of the laws regulating this in the UK? This is also the case in Chicago and Australia to name a few. Thank you.
