Guys... hope this attachment works.

Pretty sure I just found a you tube tribute to J44 during his formative years!

Enjoy!

What law, any law, is ok to force on us LACs that isn't forced on LEOs?
It's not ok but this attitude of if I can't have it they shouldn't either is not correct either.

Of course it's correct.

It's correct for two reason.

1. Those of us pushing it DO NOT need your assistance. If we find ourselves in danger we are prepared to deal with it and these "proposed restrictions" threaten our preparedness. We are about as interested in relying on YOU as we are in relying on Obama Care.

2. Restricting you as an "LEO" and more importantly as a future "retired LEO" puts YOUR skin in the game. The status-quo of "go along to get along" flies right out the window for LEO's when suddenly they are facing the same BS we are forced to deal with.

At the end of the day we recognize that you guy's "mostly" side with us... but I'm not interested in your platitudes... I'm interested in seeing you engage in the public discourse NOW in order to avoid an unnecessary fight later.

I'm not sure how to make it any more clear that this.

I hope you and your fellow officers will eventually see the light and get on board.

Tack

Seriously where do some of you live and what are you doing to have so much contact with police? Those of you saying LEO don't face anymore danger than everyone else just curious how many times have you been shot at or chased after someone with a gun? Greatest job in the world! Sorry nobody would hire you Tack. I'll clarify again my own personal stance. I'm against any type of new gun, mag, ammo etc restrictions. What I'm allowed to have you should be allowed to have. All coworkers I have spoke to also agree.

For starters... I'd like all of you to follow Sheriff Mack's example in the attached link.

http://endtimeheadlines.wordpress.com/2013/03/27/white-house-warns-sheriffs-to-follow-law-in-enforcing-gun-control-measures/

Second... Everytime I see a Chief of Police standing up with an anti-gun mayor talking about the need to further restrict my rights... I'd also like to see a representative of the Rank and File officers Union STANDING UP for us and telling the media how the Chief is a "political appointee" doing "exactly what he's told" in order to "keep his cushy desk job"... AND that the Rank and File Officers he leads DO NOT agree with ANY of the Mayor's proposals.

In short... While I respect the job all of you do... I detest your "public" silence.

Platitudes here do NOTHING to sway public opinion.

Public Statements "Like Those" from the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association DO.

With all due respect... this is not that hard to grasp. I am an honorably discharged Infantry Veteran, a gainfully employed, LAC, and father of 4 who has NO interest in needing to once again defend liberty with a gun BUT my oath demands that I follow the Constitution in all of my acts and deeds.

I expect no less from LEO's... and I pray you fella's get on board now so you don't need face this questions yourselves when and if the "unconstitutional" orders come down from D.C.

Tack

Excellent... Now ready my last post and please, do something useful with that survey.

Oh... and Hat... unless you earn over 6 figures... your department could not afford me.
I readily admit the I do not have the temperment to be a "good cop".
