Heller, 66, is seeking the seat currently held by Eleanor Holmes Norton. He is gathering signatures to run on the ballot as a libertarian candidate

Why not? Carolyn McCarthy capitalized on the death of her husband in the LIRR shooting to successfully run for Congress on an anti-gun platform! If the other side does it, why shouldn't we?
