as i've said since i first heard about it F&F - everyone, and I mean everyone, who has their name attached to this program in any way shape of from at any level of Gov't - needs to tried for murder at the very least!

In addition to Terry; hundreds of Mexican citizens not associated with the dope trade were murdered with F&F guns.

F&F was ginned up by the career bureaucrats of the BATFE. Newell was chastised by Hoover who put an end to Wide Receiver. Newell waited until the political situation was right and sprung his murderous scam by getting the blessing of the federal prosecutor for AZ. This prosecutor was a long time anti-gunner who assisted Rahm Emanuel with the AWB.

There are two kinds of people working for the BATFE; employees who simply want do a good job and the jack booted thugs. Crap like Ruby Ridge, Waco and Fast and Furious will continue until the jack booted thugs of the BATFE are reined in and hog tied. Folks, there are more Newells out there with their own plans; waiting until the political situation is right.

Many current and retired BATFE agents are demanding reform of the BATFE. Anyone who cares about their gun rights should visit this site:

It's too late, the bad apples have made the wood of the ATF

barrel rotten.

Time to defund, prosecute, and institute some

"government control" laws, in order to insure that the abuses

perpetrated by this organization,

which spilled the blood of the innocents,

never happens again.

The link at my OP is much more than the 200+ page report. There are appendices for your reading pleasure. The report with appendices is 2,359 pages long. The appendices contain the proof of the conclusions in the first 200+ pages. Some of it will make your hair stand on end.

See page 2,355 Appendix III. This is the Fast and Furious talking points e-mail from Newell, written after the death of Brian Terry. Pay special attention to the ATF only stuff in bold on page 2,358.

I'm with therewolf on this.

Time to disband the BATFEces.

I've become fond of asking this, but its as relevant as it is poignant-

What would America look like if we had 20,000 federal laws on the books and a special federal police agency to enforce them to regulate the First Amendment?

I feel sorry for those agents that want to do the right thing.

Unfortunately, they placed their faith in the wrong path to do it-illegitimate federal agencies have got to go,if not for the defense of liberty, then for the sake of the budget.

It's too bad but it looks like we the people are being sold out once again. I'd say the report amounted to a face save for both sides. Holder and obama and the rest of the sleeze bags that started it all are getting a free pass and the repulicans that "investigated" it are made to look like they are looking after the best interest of the taxpayer. They made a deal and now this will all go away and we'll get to go through another such thing all over again sometime.

Ive heard others even on this board say that regulating isnt the same as depravity. As long as some form of the right still exists, we havent lost it. Thats the kind of talk that I find both absurd and the kind of thing that allows our rights to just be minimized right out of effective existence.

They break the laws that we have to follow yet were the ones that need regulating? You get caught with your dads old W2 Luger unregistered and risk a felony, they get a healthy retirement and a promotion for selling guns to Drug Lords. Folks are dead, they were the direct and indirect cause of them dying.

Yet another linkage in the failed war on drugs and the Government regulating the distribution of firearms. How long we gonna allow both of those to continue to stain our Nation Crimson with the blood of so many before we rethink the plan?

Until we all band together, read the rules from the same play book that they are using and have them prosecuted for breaking the law. Only then will those knuckleheads in Washington and other cities realize that we are the ones in charge and that they work for us.

Unfortunately, until we get enough voters in the suburbs and rural areas to outvote the whining nincompoops and, cowardly poverty pimps in the big cities, it's going to gert worse.
