Right here in this forum I got freight trained so many times I had to change my username. If I am anti-gun you need some serious mental help. Nothing I have posted is anti-gun. What I don't like is extremists who attempt to run off people who have actually put their life on the line to defend the constitution.

Maybe Noktdu should change the name of the forum to Tea Party Headquarters. Then you all can have a big love fest instead of hearing what people of all walks of life have to say.

Nice post Pork Chop. The Left just loves to claim the NRA is weak. They have to do this to get Red state Dems to fall on their swords. Bill Clinton has warned the Obamaites that they will pay the price attacking the NRA. He got his A$$ kicked over the ASWB.
It is amazing how the anti gun "Trolls" show up on these forums. They always say the NRA is wrong and they should give in. I have only one word for these jerks. Oh! I can't say "U and the horse you rode up on!

Once upon a time there was the "Silent Majority" and I was part of it. But now, I'm vocal and active politically and there are many others like me. Just regular folks that are sick and tired of what is happening in and to our Country. There are still many who remain silent. However I believe they are slowly rising. Look at gun sales since the Socialist in Chief was first elected. Look at the increase in gun and ammunition sales just since November.

It serves the left and their media accomplices to paint us as loons, bloodthirsty and small in number. Don't buy their propaganda, we are legion.

No one said the NRA is wrong. We have at least 80 million gun owners in the US. The NRA has a membership of 4 million. There are over 4 million gun owners in NC. The population of NC by and large votes Republican and pro gun. Yet the NRA can not get a majority of gun owners in this state to support them. All gun clubs in this area used to require NRA membership to use their facilities, not anymore. What I am saying is the way the NRA is going about recruiting and keeping a good relationship with it's current members is wrong.

The panic letters and the constant send us some money turn people off. How many panic letters have you received when one of the usual suspects gets a bill on the floor of congress that has 0% chance of passing and if it did pass the President would veto the bill? The NRA needs to wake up and realize they have become a civil rights organization. Like Bobby Jindal said "We can't keep being the stupid party." The NRA needs to listen to Governor Jindal, they need to change tactics.

One last thing this troll belongs to the NRA, GOA and is a veteran. I am considering joining the JPFO. They have a better message when it comes to getting moderates on our side of the fence. Yes, I am a gentile.

Well... Here in PA we are lucky to have a lot of pro-gun Dems - as we have damned few Republicans.

And we have a huge population of deer-hunting, Dem-voting non-NRA members.
They vote Dem due to the old union mentality here - despite the nearly-dead unions.
And they don't join or support the NRA as Pennsyltuckians are by birth; lazy. Just witness Harrisburg politics - argument over.

The organized anti-gunners here in PA know this bizarre dichotomy and have been agressively attacking the 2A.
Since they pretty much own the airwaves here, the message is a constant drone of "gun nut". And the regular "I'm a hunter but I see no need for assault rifles".

This is DAILY here in PA.

If you are a gunowner and not an NRA member - shame on you.

If you don't like the NRA then don't pay member dues, CF.

It's easy. 4 million people like it. You're not one of them. Are you waiting for a medal? Moderate thinkers are who got us in this situation with their shill cries for compromise and Benedict Arnold style arguing.

I'm through with compromise. It's time the moderates and liberals tried some compromise where my 2nd amendment RIGHTS are concerned... I have that right and the only way it can legally be taken away is due process

Legislation is NOT due process.

The NRA shares that belief with me so they get my support.

Glad to see my post on tolerance and inclusiveness got you thinking there. The last 2A rally I attended there were people holding signs with the 10 commandments on them and holding up Pro-Life and Pro-God posters..... Please tell me what that has to do with our (as in all of us) gun rights??? .... and how many bridges have you built instead of burn?

As for myself, I have an extended many an open invitation to anyone who has never held or shot a firearm to go to the range with me. The only promise I make to them is 1) You will be safe and I will not allow anyone to do anything unsafe... and 2) You will have fun.

Until the NRA (and some in the firearms community) start downplaying the old boy "us vs. them" mentality and start actively trying to make MORE gun knowledgeable and responsible people... REGARDLESS of who and what they are... they will remain a dinosaur in the evolving landscape.

And if you think the GOP won't throw gun owners under the bus to play politics you're dead wrong. Case in point ; http://www.boston.com/news/politics/2012/11/26/gop-blocks-bill-give-hunters-more-land-access/i8SpmagZefh6v8EfLDXFON/story.html

As Pork Chop said peddle your anti NRA crap some where else. If anyone does not see where these two "Trolls" are coming from watch Morning Joe on MSNBC.
MSNBC is slamming the NRA as being a radical racist pro christian group. The Posters NC and Mr. Deere are spreading this give up a few rights gun owners BS on this forum. Let the Left Wing Democrats make your choices for you. These Pro Obama confiscate your firearms is not radical? National Registration of 300 million gun owners is not radical? Pennsylvania is a gun owners mecca because of thoughtful Democrats? Some one had a pro christian sign at a rally? Damn have you ever seen the anti NRA murderer signs your leftest friends are displaying?
How stupid can you be? The National BG check can only work if all guns are registered? The Democrats are openly calling for banning most all semi autos and a National Buy back. And you idiots are worried about Pro christian signs?

Pork Chop these "Trolls" are hard at work. Mr. Deere has long been a supporter of Left Wing causes so what is new? As we all know any gun owner who attacks any progun Org. has an antigun agenda. We are under heavy assault from the Liberal Democrats. Mr. Deere is telling us to give up the Left is our friend.
