while he makes some good points, IMHO he sounds like a crackpot and is opening himself up to further scrutiny and targeting. even mentioning the Oklahoma City bombing under the context of "that isn't us" does little except show him in a similar light

his written tactics (calling people 'blithering idiots' for example) seems unprofessional and makes him look like potential trouble, and an anarchist. I would have nothing to do with his group personally. if they ever DO come for our firearms, he will undoubtedly be among the first casualties!

I respectfully disagree.
his eloquent and despite the subject even a bit humorous style is perfect.

yes but he is not writing an op ed to the paper, this is a letter directed at law enforcement. humor and satire are not the way you want to go if you wish to be taken seriously. and like I said, he sounds like potential trouble and I believe the letter is a bit provocative to boot. trust me this will not accomplish what he wishes to accomplish

There is no reason to cower in front of gov't like a serf.

His attitude is perfect and he describes the forces at work with a lot of eloquence.

We need more men like him.

well I am sure other folks might like to weigh in, and don't need to get in a debate with you over this, we obviously disagree. but if you want to persuade somebody of something, you need not 'cower' as you say....most people can make their points without name-calling, commenting on testicle size etc....in other words, act grown-up and professional vs. provocative.

peace

it was not him who commented on testicle size but those who applauded him in the comments section.
Speaking truth to power is the kind of activism we need.

That was my bad, but I do concur.

He is equally bold as the socialists are about stripping us of our "Freedom" with their language and actions on the public airwaves and in the "Peoples Houses", not on some obscure blog.

When do we decide it is time to come out of the shadows?

All the while crime rates are down, murder rates are down and the militarization of the police is in hyper drive along with clamor to end the 2A, are these hand in hand maneuvers?

As already pointed out, that was NOT the author of the letter that made those comments.
