I always figured that was the liberals in California's way to get at gun owners. You can carry, but unloaded with no ammunition on your person. Kind of like a slap in the face. It's amazing that I was wrong, and (unloaded) open carry actually bothered people? It's all a big joke.

I repeat my earlier statement:

maybe they should just outlaw and ban STUPIDITY I mean carrying an UNloaded gun is just that.... but i guess if they oulawed stupidity that would outlaw 90% of that state...including legislature.

Hardly. He was part of the cleanup crew after the accident.

Nuclear scientists arent, nor have they ever been mental midgets.

Carter was not a nuclear scientist, nor a nuclear engineer. He never even qualified to be a reactor operator. He was a naval officer who did not complete nuclear training.

Not the way i read the limited info i have read on the subject....but my final thought still stands. Jimmy has done/is more for this country than our current Idiot in chief! Nor will i argue that as a president he was an abject failure....but again, light years ahead of the current bumbling idiot.

So...in CA you now can't carry openly and it sounds like most people can't easily get the permit to carry concealed, either. This irritates me and I don't even live there. I think everyone should care, whether you have a permit or not, because...what's next?

We all know what's next.
I move from state to state quite a bit. I moved to California last year after being gone for several. Why? Cause I felt like getting raped of my freedoms I guess. This state is horrible. Right up there with Massachusetts. I just bought some property in NM but I feel like this is all not just one states problem. Remember the prohibition on booze? Probably not but you have heard the tales. That mess was started in Kansas, by a select few and eventually it spread to a few other states until the Feds stepped in and set a nationwide firestorm. The Feds just need to see a handful of supporters, and when they feel like they've got enough sheep in the run, they'll start another fire and declare war on guns.

I'd rather my own son see me die on my feet as a free man, than watch him go, broken, into slavery.

why don't we just give the state back to mexico? The cartels will quickly reduce the overpopulation of politicians and lawyers.

Amigo, all you have to do is drive down the street and look around. I swear it has already been given back to Mexico!
