I couldn't tell you when it went wrong, but we all know it's jacked up beyond all repair now.

Well, I've seen several more than you. Worse one I've seen? (Barring current retard in office)? Peanut Head. Carter took stupid to an entire new level...and kicked it off the ledge.

This wouldn't suck so bad if California was a shall issue state. Getting a ccw here is a crap shoot at best. May issue my butt...

NM is a gun owners state still. Just bought some property there to counterweigh my time and residency in CA.

Yep, Peanut Head WOULD take the cake. But this idiot we have now makes Jimmy look like a political genius.

His failed presidency aside, Carter was/is a true patriot and a genius to boot!

I just posted this in the other thread about this same subject:

I am pretty pissed about this. I don't open carry and never have, but it's one more right taken away in an already anti gun state.

I am the 2A advocate/watchdog for the area Tea Party and will report this and several other items this Thursday at our monthly rally.

I am a member of the NRA, Gun Owners of California, Gun Owners of America and a supporter of the Calguns Foundation. I am active politically and I'm vocal.

There are many gun owners in CA who just snivel and then do nothing. It's frustrating. Those of us who are actively trying to defend our 2A rights don't get much help.

If you are a gun owner in California, call the Governor, call your State Representatives and Senators. Change can't happen if they think they can just legislate our rights away. Get angry, get loud and do something!

Just because you have CCW privileges doesn't mean this doesn't concern you.
This is just one more step toward total disarmament in california. This state has become one of the most oppressive states in the Union.
It has become a nanny state right before our eyes.
I cant remember the whole quote but there is one that goes: I said nothing when they came for the gypsies because I'm not a gypsy. I said nothing when they came for the intellectuals because Im not an intellectual. I said nothing when they came for the Jews because Im not a Jew. But when they came for me , no one said anything because they were all gone.

(Paraphrased badly) my apologies in advance to whomever wrote this.

Mr. Carter was a one of the pioneers in the area of nuclear submarines. He also led a crew of men that were single handedly responsible for stopping a nuclear reactor meltdown. (Reference: Chalk River) Nuclear scientists arent, nor have they ever been mental midgets.

What exactly has Obama done for this country that even slightly compares??

Honestly though, carrying an un loaded weapon seems utterly pointless anyways. They infringed on your second amendment rights when carrying a loaded gun was outlawed.

I always figured that was the liberals in California's way to get at gun owners. You can carry, but unloaded with no ammunition on your person. Kind of like a slap in the face. It's amazing that I was wrong, and (unloaded) open carry actually bothered people? It's all a big joke.
