You took an excerpt, of my quote, out of context. I was referring to
State laws preempting local ordinances. If we left Georgia gun laws
up to Atlanta's discretion, we would also be denied our 2A rights.

Atlanta has no authority to restrict our 2A rights by overriding State
Statutes. It's up to the State of NY to create preemption statutes
and put NYC in it's place. IMO.

When government makes laws to ban guns from law abiding citizens, it makes laws to protect the criminals from armed citizens. The law means nothing to the criminal. The law, in effect, endangers the citizens while protecting the criminal from harm when robbing, car jacking, or assaulting the citizen. Bloomberg and others like him place their voters in danger for no reason. This is the highest form of arrogance.
