Belltack, Thx for your very outsanding post on this subject. I do not understand why this fellow is allowed to post his antigun Brady Gun Control Propaganda on this forum. He should be banned from this I hope progun forum.

I actually read HER posts and didn't get the "anti" vibe that you did. Had you read any of HER previous efforts, you certainly would not be throwing around anti gun barbs. So what you are saying is that just because HER point of view doesn't align with yours, SHE should be banned??? Now who's stomping on constitutional rights??? As of right now, anyone can say any damn thing they please here (this country), who are you to say otherwise?

Well I don't think she should be banned at all. I hope that was a joke. HOWEVER people need to understand that only the government can NOT prohibit your 1st amendment rights. Any private party can in context - such as running a message forum.

Legally, yes.
Morally and in the spirit of a forum like this one, maybe not so much.
It's the diversity of opinions that make this type of forum valuable. That goes directly towards American core values. I disagree with plenty I've read here and I'm sure there are people out there that disagree with me and my posts but that's a good thing. Consider what this forum would look like if it was run by the Chinese, or North Koreans or the Mullahs in Iran.

But when an individual says "I'm emotionally insecure and might hurt myself or someone else, therefore I need Big Brother Bloomberg to prevent EVERYONE from owning a firearm" then we have an irreconcilable problem.

A close friend who is currently in NYC will be leaving a very good job soon to return to Rochester. He can't stand the idiocy in the city anymore and he misses shooting.
There must not be enough 2A people to elect the right people to represent
their beliefs come election time! I really feel for everyone who would like
to protect themselves from the criminals who roam, freely in your streets.

It's totally up to your State Legislators and Governor to pass laws that
cannot be overridden by local ordinances. Even NYC Mayors don't have the
power to be Kings. The future of New York is totally in the hands of the
law abiding citizens. In the mean time, everyone who cannot bear life, in
NY, can consider a life in the Free States in the USA. There are about 44
or 45 of them to choose from! Don't ask Bloomberg, or Obama, they can't
name them!

I disagree but if you fellows want to protect Pro Brady Bans on the forum and call it balance OK. This is the kind of anti firearms freedom propaganda that is seeping into all the shooting forums. This seems to be an Eastern habit of bringing wolves into the house. It is no wonder the Eastern states have such antigun laws. When you bargain with these people you will not win.

"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Benjamin Franklin
Do we need anymore mindless drool from those who have bought into the idea that gun control of any sort is useful for the purposes of a nation based on liberty? I think they need a history lesson or two.

The fact that only five of 51 NY City councilmen are Republican tells us something about NY City voters: It tells us New York City voters do not vote for pro-gun, pro-self defense councilmen.
