Like that has ever stopped them before. I'm sure that's what those in Katrina said when the MAYOR came down. An "AWB" bypasses the Constitution and they are open about that.

The Left does not recognize the Constitution. It is a "living, breathing" document.
The Republicans in NY State have already signaled they will no longer block further gun legislation -- banning anything over 7 rounds was mentioned. The biggest recent influence on this is the Caribbean and Central American immigrant community who have no history of rights and the lack of brutality and severe punishment here have them laughing at disarming any but the law-abiding "idiots." They will not comply but know who will... It is an entitlement population with a "get away with what I can" attitude and race-baiting community organizers.
Remember the Cuomos are tied to organized crime to begin with. That Andrew Cuomo should be in prison for his crimes as head of HUD. And his father lost his reelection and said: "The people don't know what they've done. Don't they realize I'm their shepherd?"

Here's what needs to happen; the gun companies operating in NY - what; Remington, ATI the import company, Kimber - who else?? - needs to jointly let the NY governor know that they will immediately cease ops, shutdown factories/corp ofcs et al, and all of them will move to a 2A-friendly state.
Like PA for example  or elsewhere. Gov't understand LOST tax revenues, and will not be happy with the burden of more unemployed. And of course the workers will not be happy.
I will not buy anymore ATI-imported items, nor Remmy, or anything else NY. In retrospect I feel dumb for buying a Brooklyn-made Henry - my LAST Henry buy. And as it was, Henry left the fire to go in the frying pan of New Jersey - when PA was almost as close.
At the least, maybe us in the GUN CONSUMER community can let both the NY gun companies and the NY governor know we quit buying until NY shuts up.

The pressure will be applied to mostly white middle class neighborhoods. The firearms held in big minority areas will not be bothered. This is the problem in Chicago. The large number of white middle class citizens in Chicago are left disarmed. The murder rate by firearms among the Black and Latino cultures is out of control. Not one Liberal will mention this problem. The class war and disarming only one side is worth watching.

Who else will obey the gun laws but the mostly white middle class?
Other classes are protected by liberal guilt and the ACLU, and an indifferent police force that would rather not go into combat when a fat, middle-age white dude is the low-hanging fruit.

It's not only the left. You should take a hard look at the other side of the isle as well, they are all guilty!
