I am wary of everything a legislature does. That is one reason we ended up with very technical language in the amendment.

thank you for educating me on Judicial speak. i am on the fence about the Amendment, only because of the the "strict scrutiny" wording. to me it just leaves a backdoor to someone with higher authority's interpretation...........as opposed to "shall be unlawful."

Just remember that that same "higher authority" gets to interpret the term "shall be unlawful" also.
