I'm gonna get heat, but ima democrat. I read all the anti democrat stuff here and cringe. I am not a traditional democrat,I am considered a Reagan democrat, but democrat all the same. Yes, I believe you should be able to carry whatever you desire, wherever you want, and firmly believe the government should stay out of your gun business, as well as all your other business.

Said it, go ahead, slam me....

I don't know that any party represents my beliefs, but I firmly believe in right to bear arms.

Where is Reagan when we need him most.......

I joined off. They have auto mailer to use to mail senators and governors. I use it, and actually get responses.

Off pulls weight here in Oregon.

Think about the real unrepresented masses that have been the greatest proponents to the 2a; Redneck backwoods hunters, trappers and others that dont have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out! Most of them actually depend on that right to survive. Many dont have cable TV, the internet or even a local paper (and couldnt afford it if they did) but they have mouths to feed and while the cost we pay for representation may be trivial to us, its food to their children. What if you had the choice between an NRA Membership or a box of Shotgun Shells and dinner for a week from hunting but not both?
where is this in the us? im moving there and live like bill gates !!

Why do you still consider yourself a Democrat if you do not agree with their stated ideology? Reagan left. Why don't you? There is always "undeclared", "Independent" or perhaps the Libertarian party. Check them out.

In the early '60's Reagan switched to the Democrat Party. He famously said "I did not leave the Democratic Party. They left me."

I think there are a lot of us floundering in the middle, neither left or right. It's difficult in a country with such opposite ends of the spectrum. On election day I had to sacrifice things I believe in either way I voted.

About the "poll":
Any poll can be manipulated by carefully selecting the people who get polled.
95% of all statistics are made up on the spot.
It is unfathomable that a high percent of gun owners want their guns to be registered with the feds. That's got to be a false "statistic".
There are frequently posted "polls" that declare "xx% of all Americans...", but I've NEVER been "polled", and don't know anyone who has been.
The wording of the questions in a poll can mislead people into giving answers that don't express their true feelings.
Reporters and pollsters lie.

Any one here,
ever hear,
of a COMPUTER ? ?
All of our names are in more than one computer.
If you have a computer,
you are in some computer some where.
Computers are programed to send mailings to names on the computer.
My Son moved out more than ten years ago.
He still gets junk mail here.
Now rather than have a "stroke" over this mail,
I put it in the recycle bin.
RELAX, people, RELAX.
