The more you make guns taboo the more it increases curiosity. Teaching kids about guns is a good thing. The more they know, the safer and less curious and stupid they'll be about it.

It's almost funny, but it really ends up just being a damn shame.

I gotta think lil redneck kids would be out back hiding their toy guns.

My redneck boys would be planning a raid on the school to liberate the toy guns!

I wonder how they look at book burning? You can expect large groups of the these Socialist to have public burnings of the American Rifleman. It is coming.

Funny story, my 5th grade year they were updating our math books and told us we could take our issued books home if we wished. My first though was "wonder what my 22 mag would do to this?" took it home and shot the p*ss out of it that summer vacation lol

Next week most of those parents will just buy new toy guns to replace the old broke ones their kids turned in. And will probably get a few more violent video games as well.

Dude, thats one you might want to keep to yourself if you dont want to be exempted from the 2A. If you hadnt noticed, it doesnt take much to be declared unfit for rights in this country. I can only imagine how something like this could be spun! Not to say it was a bad thing to do to an inanimate object, just interpretable in so many ways that wont do you any favors in BHO's USA FOOG.

The Toy gun thing would be a hoot if it wasnt both a waste of taxpayer money and an in your face way way of Big Brother asserting Guardianship over all of us. No doubt, lots of us gave up the urge to choose and think for ourselves long ago, its become natural to do what they say because they know whats right, dont they...

(raises fist) I remember doing the same thing with a literature book that was getting replaced with an updated version (for all those developments in British Literature in the mid 1980's ). I just used .22LR, no mags.
