You are sh**ting me!

I was sure this was a joke thread. Had to be, with a bizarro title........it's real?

I can believe that some squinty-eyed, thin-lipped teachers who have never done anything in their lives outside a classroom with desks in it might come up with something this flaky; but a cop?

Any cop who thinks this is a sane idea needs to take off his/her uniform and get help.

The article quotes an oriental guy is standing up for American gun rights. Reminds me of this guy:

My head hurts.

Toy guns? My 2 little sisters recently received gifts, the 6 year old got a 22lr cricket and the 13 year old got a mosin 91/30. They both have better gun safety than most people and they both can shoot 2 liter bottles at 50 yards on irons

Some call it **** Edited **** of America, and I don't argue that. We are training the youth of America to be sheep. I also wonder what the $#%! the parents are thinking? Obviously the kids got most of those toy guns from them? So what are they thinking now? Did none of the parents play with toy guns in their youth and are willing to step forward about it? Why aren't they screaming at the stupidity of this guy? Isn't this a bit outside of the job description of a school principal as well?

It took a bit for that to sink in and realize just how important that was.

Freedom comes with responsibility. We all know that but I believe too many of us think "responsibility" means "accountability" - as in, do the crime, do the time. That is how I saw it for a long time. Accountability for misdeeds is part of it alright, but it's only part of it. We also have the important responsibility to stand up for and protect our freedom. If we don't meet that responsibility, we'll lose it all. It's not just soldiers who have to fight for freedom. It's us, too.

God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ...

And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.

I wish I were old and senile. unfortunately I'll have a clear head as things get more and more idiotic.

I don't know how to respond to this, it's too ridiculous to do so.
