The sad part is there is PLENTY of supply, our stupid lib politicians block it from being brought back here. I bet there is enough John Cs outside the US for everyone that wants one here. I remember seeing them for relatively cheap prices when I was a kid, now they cost quite a bit.

This is a war on American Culture. Everything Obama has done is related to dismantling 200 years of a unique democratic society.

I was just looking on the CMP website, most things are sold out and they are not accepting orders. That should say it all. Also, I wonder where Chainfire is on this one? Im sure he has some valid reason for his king to have done something like this.

I think you are getting hung up on semantics here.
It is my understanding the order would prevent the 'return' of military weapons that our government either sold or loaned to other countries.

That should say it all???
This isnt the first time it has been this way.
Just a few years back "everything" was sold out except the cheapest Rack Grade rifles. Rumors were flying that they would never have Garands again
After that they had some of the nicest Garands that I have seen for many years
Its not over yet, the fat lady hasnt sung

What do you mean sold out? They are still accepting orders for Service Grade HRAs. $625 and $950, depending upon grade. There's no change on any of the variety of arms sold today than there were four months ago. Most of what you're seeing sold out or not accepting orders has been that way for a long time.

Some folks shoot off their mouths about the constitutionality of things that they don't have a clue about. If someone can show me something in the constitution that says the government is obligate to arm it's citizens with a CMP-like program, I will retract.

I happen to like the CMP program and have benefited from it, but....it would not be an attack or 2A or unconstitutional to close down the CMP program.

Chainfire you're right it wouldnt be unconstitutional to shut down the CMP, however Obama has restricted our access to firearms that we have a right to and that is unconstitutional. restricting us in the way he has is infringing upon our right that should never be infringed.
