I think I'm moving my self and my family across the lake to VT. This is complete and total BS. I'm so pissed right now I can't stand it.

That may be the best thing you can do. Vermont is one of the best states in the U.S. to live in. New York is controlled by organized crime.

Wtf? We did... It didn't do us a damn lick of good. Our republicans who were supposed to have our backs turned on us as traitors.
Way to run salt in wounds of fellow gun enthusiast who was just stripped of their rights. "Uh hey it's to bad guys, you deserve it... Better luck next time"

Sorry Yankees, but it may be time to GTFO of there until sanity returns to "your" government.

There are reasonably priced homes and land available in the comparably free state of Mississippi.

The big problem you get from voting people who are filthy, stinkin' rich into high political office is that they will run the gov't for the benefit of themselves and their cronies. And it is always to their benefit to erode the rights of the "common" people, to make sure there is no threat to the power and wealth of the wealthy.

It will be interesting to see how many gun owners leave NY much like the wealthy did after being taxed to death.

So, if the o man comes out tomorrow and says no more than 10 round mags, will that over ride the NY law or will the NY law stick since it's more restrictive? Just curious and just using this as an example. Sorry for you folks in NY. It's a flippin' shame.

The rub:
*Universal background checks for ALL ammunition sales!!!
*Universal background checks for ALL gun sales (commercial and private)
*Increasing powers to confiscate firearms from who the state deems mentally ill, also increased penalties for gun-related crime.
*Immediate ban on semi-automatic rifles, shotguns and pistols with a "military-style feature," such as a flash suppressor or a bayonet mount.
*Guns that are currently legal but are soon to be banned would be grandfathered in, but their owners will be required to register them with the state.
*7-round magazine capacity cap, all firearms included, no exceptions.
*Automated alert system for individuals trying to buy large amounts of ammo (amount????)

Welcome to the new New York, now bend over and take your punishment...
