Technically, if and when Congress passes any type of "gun control" law the NY law will become null and void and the limits imposed by federal law will be the only ones enforceable.

I imagine that they are proposing the 7 rounds and then will "negotiate", maybe up to 10. I doubt they would go more than that. I don't like it, I don't condone it but I think thats what they will do.

sorry, but the 7rd limit is a done deal ... the law was passed YESTERDAY The reason for the 7rd limit was to make an end run around for a handgun ban ... a ban the anti gun crowd knew they would never get. But limit "all magazines to 7rds" and you include EVERY semi auto handgun made

If the folks in NY do not revolt over this than every other ban happy state and the Feds will take the same strategy

New York is a very Liberal state. Yes I know there are some fine and badly out numbered Patriots living there. Some of the finest hunters I ever guided were from rural New York State.
But the facts are the people of that state prefer a Socialist Euro government. I don't understand Remington Arms staying there?

not entirely true .. outside of NYC, Albany, Rochester and Buffalo NY is very much like any other rural area in the country Folks who make fun of southern rednecks would be very surprised to find that rural NY has them too
