Default New Poll shows less Americans favor Gun Control

This is definitely good news, although there is more work that needs to be done.

Record-Low 26% in U.S. Favor Handgun Ban

IMO, these poll results are hardly surprising,

and if all polled were shown FBI statistics from the last three studies over the

last 10 years concerning lowered crime stats vs increased gun

ownership and CCWs, I feel the poll would have been even more

lopsided...

...anti-gunners try to paint every progressive step towards an unfettered

2nd Amendment nationwide as a "wild west" scenario, which has yet to

happen. In point of fact, quite the opposite has been true.

The current administration, in it's zeal to create negative gun

stats, instead plowed the road for a PR fiasco (Gunwalker) which shows

the Fed is they who cannot be trusted with guns...

Perhaps it's time for we, the CCW holders, we the people,

the actual responsible, law abiding, gun-owners

to adopt some laws which take guns away from irresponsible

federal agencies, in order to protect our LEOs, and no longer

allow our local police to be exposed to the very real, very lethal

" federal gun" danger...

Common sense is slowly being restored.

Exactly. People like Sarah Brady have been falsely inflating public figures for gun control for the last 30+ years. I'll never forget her back in the 80's on the "Geraldo Show", (switching to Fox didn't make him any less of a liberal pi$$ pot), claiming that "75% of Americans want stricter gun control!"

All nonsense, then as well as now. With a 75% majority you could put hookers and Heroin in public schools.........legally.

Gallup did a pretty thorough job, pro-guns up all across the board. Thanks for sharing this.

I think the 26% are the same people who'd rather see their kids as OWS protesters.

I see this as good news but I don't put much stock in polls.

The ATF, and other federal agencies have shown rampant irresponsibility,

and trampled our RKBA with fettering and unneeded laws.

Our Local Law Enforcement needs to be protected from the

projects like gunrunner, and the 2nd Amendment needs to be restored

with the repeal of any law which attempts to infringe on the

obviously responsible ones: WE THE PEOPLE !
