Vermont was my first option, but now New Hampshire might be #1. No sales tax AND no permits? Unheard of in Taxachusetts.

Yeah, took me a minute to noodle that one through as well. I thought that permits would be mandatory, not that NH would remove the need for a permit at all making New Hampshire one of the unrestricted carry states.
