new gun law question

Any know what might be in the works in the possible new gun laws? If they are approved, when will they be in effect?

What they want, what they get, and what they'll do is anyones guess.

Even VP Biden is relenting on some of his chest pounding after public reactions. In the end, I think we'll see the mags over 10 become unavailable, maybe a couple other small things. Mainly what you'll see is, a lot of people taking a huge bath on the retarded prices they paid for AR's in December and Jan.

I dont think legislation will be able to get through the house but we can expect our "President for Life" to issue an unconstitutional proclamation. Whether law enforcement or the military will obey the order to enforce it is the big question and he will order its implementation before the courts can act. If he does and if they do, you will be living in a Dictatorship instead of a Constitutional Republic. Welcome to the United Socialist States of America or will it be the Union of Socialist States of America. Either way it is the USSA. Our new flag will be a hammer and sickle on a yellow background.

If Obama issues illegal executive orders that is grounds for impeachment. FDR got away with issuing illegal executive orders because congress was on board with him. Our current congress would love to impeach Obama. Even some Democrats would be on board with impeaching Obama for killing the momentum the Democratic party has built up in the past few years. His current actions are ensuring a republican landslide in the next election. When it comes to the second amendment Americans will vote single issue. The Republican party would be dead by now if the Democrats would leave the second amendment alone.

will Grandfathering be affected?
example: can they do something to the rifles that were grandfathered before the ban?
overall can they affect grandfathering by taking away a rifle thats banned even though it was grandfathered?
can they do that or put such a law?

Technically no laws can be made retroactively but who knows at this point. If you pass a law that is fundamentally unconstitutional do you really care how many clauses it violates? Sorta defines this entire argument, if you are willing to kill someone do you really care if the gun used is a banned weapon?

You are just going to have to be patient. No one knows what will happen or when it will happen.

This is what my crystall ball says, but it told me that Florida would win their bowl game too........

I wouldn't worry about losing any gun already in your posession. It may, in the future, be very difficult and/or very expensive to purchase or transfer any high-capacity, semi-automatic, centerfire rifles. It may be very difficult, or illegal to purchase or transfer the hi-cap magazines. Personal transfers of guns at gun shows may require background checks, not currently mandatory.

My crystall ball also tells me that people like James Yeager could make things much worse for gun owners. (that sombitch is crazy) It also tells me that one more mass murder in the near future may change all of the rules.
