Default new gun ban in California?

Just this afternoon, about 6 hours after the shooting at the Sikh mosque, the politicians in Calif. have said they want to ban guns that have "bullet buttons".
In effect the attorney general is out to ban thousands of guns in this state just because they have an easily detached magazine.
I dont have all the story on this yet but will try to find all the info this week.

When someone uses a gun for justified defense, shouldnt gun laws be lifted.

Let's hope this doesn't pass for Californians. They have enough gun control over there.

I pray that Californians stand up for their constitutional rights and tell the politicians that their knee-jerk reaction is not the proper one. Get a letter writing campaign going and educate the media, the public and the politicians what voters can do!

Politicians should be scared of not representing their constituency instead of the constituency fearing the politician.

I feel for my breathern in California but we in Texas don't tend to follow that state's lead in anything. Never have, and hopefully never will. Beautiful state but I'd get out as fast as I could if I lived there. Got a few friends who did, and are bumming about our hot summers, but glad to live where guns are a welcome item.

Girlie men is a pejorative term that was notably used by then- California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to characterize opponents in the state legislature...

Shame how such a beautiful state is so oppressive. Good thing it's not as gorgeous as here
