This is the only Flag I display on holidays. This Flag has a lot meaning and history to me. My original ancestor (direct line) came here in the 1540s from Somerset County, England and another on the Mayflower. This country was settled by some of my ancestors who fought and died for what we enjoy today. 236 years old and we are dying and being enslaved.

Look at this Flag and ask yourself, can we get it back and all it stands for ??????


Think hard and deep, have a Happy Independence Day. May we continue to survive.................................

That's a lot more than disrespectful to our leaders. Thats disrespectful to everyone that shed blood for it. The flag is not a symbol of a nations leadership. Don't fly your flag upside down. So few people fly a flag that if you show a little patriotism and actually fly one they'll get the point. Please fly your flag correctly or just don't fly it. As someone who has lost friends and family and as a Marine who puts my life on the line daily for what that grand banner symbolizes I appeal to you.

If you study a little flag etiquette you will i AM flying it correctly!

Old glory flown upside down is a sign of distress....this nation IS in distress. Nuff said!

Also, under 1st amendment protections (what little is left of them and the rest of the bill of rights) its a form of demonstration.

I am more than familiar with flag etiquette and I understand what you are doing, however I don't think flying your flag in distress as a political statement on independence day is really the right thing to do. I'm also not familiar of any instance where the national ensign should be flown below any other flag. I know personally I'd be offended if I saw it and ive never broke the economy, passed national health care laws or stepped on the second amendment. Obviously it's a moot point at this point since you probably flew it like that yesterday. Hope you had a good 4th though regardless. : )

This country is heading in the wrong dorection, no doubt. I personally agree with you on this one, sorry fmj. Things aren't completely falling apart like so many say. Not yet, and chaos may be close, or things may get better from here on out. I know my ww2 vet grandfathers would probably stop at a house with an upside down flag and chew some ass, imo.

Whenever a flag gets flown in distress around here the VFW hall guys whine & cry on the local news. To much drama for me. That's why I only fly my State flag.
