It's time to check yourself. It's one thing to disagree in the political forum; that can make for a good discussion. However, you crossed the line to either fool or troll a few posts back.

I'm told I was considered for Mod. I was never formally offered the slot, because I made it clear that I felt it would hamstring me in alot of ways.
I've disagreed with Mods. I've never been threatened with a ban, a timeout, nothing. I think the most brutal thing I've been on the end of was having a post moved to an appropriate section.
I've had some threads locked. AT MY REQUEST.
Near as I can tell, nobody has ever caught a ban for losing an argument.
Contradicting yourself in multiple posts, failure to respond like a grown up when logic is brought in, and just being downright confrontational screams troll to me.

BKT has been involved in a long debate with me in another thread. 100% competent, professional and well-informed. If he's drunk on anything, my bet is on a cold beer or three not power. The only person I see being uncivilized is you.

In the absence of corporate interests (lobbyists don't care either way) legislators pass gun laws based on the wants of the people that scream in their faces the loudest. Typically these are mothers of kids that are killed by gangsters/maniacs/ex's or their own stupidity/lack of training. They submit a bill to congress to appease the folks that just want something done, whether it makes sense or not.

If the guns get taken away, I want the NRA to refund all my money that I have given them.

Absolutely agree! bkt's picture should be next to the definition of 'civil discourse.'

My picture's already next to the definition of 'freak', so that wouldn't work.
