I heard today of FOX that Eric Holder was trying to put a muzzle/hush on some of the ATF Officials about what happened. They interviewed one on the news today. Not to mention bringing the terrorist to the US for trial. He obviously is afraid it might effect Mr. Wonderful's reelection.

No doubt the OA wanted to keep all this hushed up until a particular whistleblower protection statute expired in September of this year. ( I suspect a factor in Ken Melson's sudden, secret holiday appearance before Rep. Issa's Committee.) Failng that, its done its best to delay and obsfuscate. ( As the large number of completely blacked out pages sent as response to Rep. Issa's supoena.) Having this sort of scandal hit the front page just prior to the election would spell disaster.

Curious, though, how so much potential scandal is being so studiously ignored by the lame-stream media. Even some major talk radio types are staying away. I wonder why ? Its not because there isn't enough "blood in the water". We have all the plot elements for a TV series right now. All that's missing is sex, and we find that yet. >MW

Local radio was talking about Project Gunrunner and online has it too:

This is the pdf of the final bill.

Downloaded the final signed copy by the WH and on page 16, the 3rd paragraph, reads the following:

"For an additional amount for ‘‘State and Local Law Enforcement

Anyone ever notice that every time something negative comes out about this "government" we have now, there is another story that is taking up most of the public eye? This case in FL has everyone all up in "arms" like they have something to actually do with it, while this is happening right under everyones nose, and personally, this will play more in my life than the other.

Numbers for jobs and approval ratings at the lowest.....BAM! Osama is caught.

I cant remember the thing that was taking everyone attention away from Libya but the sheeple were all up in arms then too......

Just a thought.

We the people that are watching are connecting the dots and it is not going to a small fry, it goes to the top.

Yeap! Distraction from what is going on. I have a long list of sites saved and scan them for information. They avoid the BS in the media and dig for the dirt or what is going under the radar.

Now for more Gun Runner, page 19 for the funding.

http://www.justice.gov/oig/reports/ATF/e1101.pdf

Project Gunrunner Budget

Initially, Project Gunrunner had no dedicated funding within ATF’s budget. ATF funded all of the initiative’s operations out of its general appropriation. As ATF expanded the initiative in response to the increased violence in Mexico and concern over firearms trafficking into Mexico, ATF began seeking dedicated funds for Project Gunrunner, starting with its FY 2008 budget request. In FY 2009, ATF received $21.9 million to support and expand Project Gunrunner. This included $5.9 million in ATF’s FY 2009 appropriation for Project Gunrunner, $10 million in March 2009 from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act), and an additional $6 million in June of that year. Under Public Law No. 111-230 (2010), Emergency Border Security Supplemental Appropriations, ATF received an additional $37.5 million for the continued expansion of Project Gunrunner in FY 2010.

The fox is guarding the hen-house.

Aren't these guys at ATF the ones who go on and on about how

THEY don't trust US with a large assortment of firearms?

NOW, it's blatantly obvious all along that WE can't trust THEM.

DE-fund the defunct.

You need to watch and listen very carefully to this video.

Project Gun Runner (Fast and Furious) was launched under the orders of President Barack Obama with the knowledge of Attorney General Eric Holder. Deputy Attorney General David Ogden announced the Obama Administration's new and aggressive 'comprehensive plan' on March, 24, 2009. The plan was aimed at disrupting gun trafficking between the United States and Mexico.

I don't know if the details of this have been posted already but not only did Holder know about this project, he was taking credit for it. Of course this is from 2009 before it blew up in their faces and was compromised.

According to this Wikipedia article, ATF launched Project Gunrunner in 2005 -

Project Gunrunner - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

At this point, we're probably looking at five or six years' worth of "lost" guns.
