More on Gunrunner
This is from local Arizona news station ABC15.
Update: ATF‘s ’Project Gunrunner’ Weapons Turning Up in Arizona Crimes
Update: ATF‘s ’Project Gunrunner’ Weapons Turning Up in Arizona Crimes | Breaking news and opinion on The Blaze
A local Arizona news station has uncovered some startling new evidence showing the extent of the ineptitude surrounding the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) and it’s failed “project gunrunner program.” According to the station, guns that the ATF allowed to be purchased by suspicious individuals in the U.S. and then “walked” to and distributed in Mexico are turning up in area crimes.

Bunch of pr*&ks...if you recall they tried to get ahead of this story and use it to justify more restrictions on guns. Before the truth came out they were blaming the inflow of guns to Mexico on irresponsible gunstore owners.

Well, since the Fed has shown they're SO IRRESPONSIBLE with
guns, I guess we'll have to confiscate all BATFE's, FBI, and the Secret
Service's weapons, don't you think?

What Ken Melson's "Limited Hangout Defense" (ala Nixon), has done is put the Grassley/Issa hound pack on yet another trail. I don't for a moment believe his mea culpa plea, but he had to buy some insurance and Rep. Issa's Committee was the only market.
Since none of what Melson alleges - and apparently documented - could have been accomplished without the active participation of the upper levels of DOJ, the FBI and DHS, a lot of President Obama's "boys" are deep in the doo-doo. Now let's see if the Harvard Law graduate can protect them. And how he does it.
Since this fiasco also spans BATF/USG agents manipulating Mexican government and arms shipped to various governments via aegis of the USDS that means Ms. Clinton gets to weigh in on the issue. Since "back when" the OA proudly displayed seized arms the gun community knew couldn't be bought without BATFE involvement, the "US/Mexican Gun Trafficing" has been exposed as a false-flag operation. President Obama's childishly snide "were working under the radar", response to a meeting with Brady Bunch execs confirmed it.
From what's emerging it appears we're seeing revealed is a very high level and extremely compartmentalized covert operation intended to sway public opinion against, not only gun sales, but pro-gun organizations and owners. All of this involves bureaucracy, and not a paper clip is tossed but its disposition is noted in that system. So somewhere exists records of monies distributed who got them, for what purpose and the authorizing authority. That's a lot of threads. Perhaps Sen. Grassley and Rep. Issa can follow them to the skirts of who's responsible. >MW

More about Melson testimony. FBI and DEA were alledgedly involved. Deputy Attorney General seems to be a key figure who was instructed to cover up details and obstruct congress.

Wait ! There's more !!
This from the Sipsey Street Irregulars blog by Mike Vanderboegh, and Dave Codrea.
Sipsey Street Irregulars
As I've stated all along, Gunwalker couldn't have been solely confined to one BATF office. Past mentions have included SC, GA, TX and NM FFLs being squeezed by ATF for straw purchases. All these deals have become suspect. Were they done with government funding as well ? ( Pipelining straw-purchased guns to gangs in major East Coast urban areas -politically liberal and hoplophobic - would address the OA's need for a "crisis" to use to its anti-gun advantage.)
Now the scene shifts to FL !! Where will it stop ?
Mssrs. Codrea and Vanderboegh are serious investigative reporters. It was their skill and dedication that started unraveling the OFF cloak. If they say they smell smoke, I'll bet there's a fire. >MW
