the NY Safe Act will be the template for many other gun control representatives all over the country

Once it gets shot down in court I sincerely hope that the voters remember all the names of those who hitched their wagons to that piece of legislative garbage

The Dem Governor here (Mark Dayton) has indicated he will not back any gun legislation not supported by rural Minnesota.

Interestingly enough, Dayton is a firearms owner with a publicized history of alcohol, drug and mental health issues. Tough spot to be in these days!

Should be interesting here....this state is an example of my this isn't a "right or left" issue as the press would like you to think. Obama's only tactic has been to divide and conquer, pitting Americans against Americans. This is just another example.

Felony for NOT turning in my 10/22 magazines? Really? Clearly over-reaching (simple Pawn Stars tactic), the anti gunners want universal background checks and so called high capacity magazines to be banned. They can all kiss my law abiding a**!

Negotiating tactic like they use on the TV show; ie, ask for way more than you expect in a negotiation hoping to get half that much. That's what I think some of these bills are clearly doing

Seriously folks, before going "chicken little" does anyone really believe that this has a snowball';s chance in hell of passing???

There are enough real problems in the country to be concerned about. Don't waste energy on some leftist's pipe dream.

As long as we keep sitting on our thumbs and only complain on the interweb about it they'll never stop. They've lost the fear of WE THE PEOPLE and feel they can push us around all they want without any retaliation. Well, until we actually DO SOMETHING to make them fear WE THE PEOPLE again then we'll keep getting what we're getting and have to like it.
