I think we take the NRA for granted and want them to carry the whole load. We should stand up as individuals also and be seen and heard. I'm retired now and I can make the trip if someone can start the organizing. I would hope that our 2nd amendment right would be worth a couple vacation days and some gas for those of you still working. I'm down for it.

April 19th, The date of the Battles of Lexington and Concord. When Britsh
troops were sent to confiscate American Firearms.

I am sure the significance of the date would be lost on the politicians.

On a side note: I strongly encourage all, especially those who can not turn out in person, to use that day to flood their representatives with emails.

In fact, I'd like to encourage event holders to set up computers at these events, to allow people to email their representatives.
