http://www.freep.com/article/20120517/NEWS06/120517058/Stand-your-ground-law-Michigan-Democrats-Trayvon-Martin

They say "It's not about guns, it's about violence"

My ass.

Yes yes, as we all know, more laws = less violence...

I wonder what the outcome would have been if we were forced to retreat by law when the Redcoats were coming...

We'd all be throwing darts, sipping warm ale and dropping our H's...

There will be a lot of attacks on the stand your ground laws over the next year or 2 because they view it as a law they can remove. The thing everyone needs to do in their state is flood the state legisltaure with emails and letter against it.

Stand Your Ground laws and Castle Doctrine will be prime targets for liberals and democrats across the nation. These laws completely curtail the liberal/democrat/socialist agenda by firmly placing power where it belongs, in the hands of the citizen.

Without fear of criminal attack how can they possibly continue to trot out Police Officers as the face of "cuts to public services?"

Without fear of criminal attack how can they successfully disarm the population? Especially with mounting Internet news reports showing guns used properly for SD with no charges brought against the citizen?

Without fear of criminal attack, how can they continue to convince sheeple that they need the protection of thier benevolent government?

Without FEAR, how can libtards lead? They can't!

Write your reps to pass Stand your Ground if you don't already have and write them to protect it of you do.

Tack

Got to love Detroit and Flint. They have enough democrats to vote in a lot of crap the rest of the state has to live with. I LOVE that the reason for repealing it is to prevent inner city violence and because the law encourages violence. Yet the article admits that not one person has used the law to justify an act of self defense.

The number of CPL holders in Michigan has increased 17% since January of 2010. At that time there were roughly 220,000 CPL holders. As of March 3, 2011 the number is now 258,059.

There is approx. 9,876,187 people in Michigan, and half of those are retards.

Anti-gunners will continue to attack concealed carry, castle doctrine and stand your ground laws in some states. In the vast majority of states the "stand your ground" law will not change. In the case of MI the anti gunners admit its a long shot: Its an election year and they want to reassure their anti-gun constitutents.
