Default Michigan obtains max CPL reciprocity!!!

Mich. obtains maximum CPL reciprocity | WOOD TV8

"The Attorney General's Office announced in a release on Monday that it had reached reciprocity agreements with 39 states, meaning that every other state that has a concealed carry law will accept a Michigan CPL permit. In addition, Michigan will accept the permits from each of the other 39 states. "


"Michigan is the only state to have ever obtained maximum reciprocity. "

Maryland is not on that list and they have a Concealed Carry Permit.

YAY! here's the thing now...I wonder if Michigan will relax its requirements to obtain the permit to that of other states?

It's far better that the individual states establish reciprocity between each other than for the feds to come up with a law enforcing reciprocity. The feds can't be trusted. They'd soon create a national CWP then make the requirements impossible to meet, except for members of congress, the cabinet, and connected "associates" who feed them money and power. Or create a reasonable-looking CWP, then after the states abandon theirs, revoke the national one. Also, they'd likely require listing of everyones' personally-owned firearms to get a permit.
