It's so obvious as to what's going on here that I'm astonished that no one else has mentioned it yet. People like Bloomberg and his ilk want to reinstate the feudal system where they'll be the ruling class and the rest of us will be their peasants/slaves.
All of these "elite" folks feel that they're so far above the common man that we should just bow and kiss their ring and do their bidding no matter what.
Well, big, huge, hairy wake up call to em', we have a little thing called the CONSTITUTION and the BILL of RIGHTS that give us the Right to kick their A$$ if they try to pull any thing on us like oh, say, becoming a dictator or trying to pass Unconstitutional laws.
The 2nd Amendment is our "teeth" to bite em' in their backsides if they don't behave in a proper manner respecting our REPUBLIC and it's forum of government.
That's why they're trying to hard to get rid of the 2A so they can run rough shod over us but I'm just glad that folks are finally starting to wake up and stand up to em'.
Fight the good fight, don't give up, stand strong and we will win.

Somehow they feel invincible with numbers. But I can aptly predict that the moment Americans straighten up their backs and bend no more these lil' emperors (Ha!) will 'visibly, perceptibly' quake in their pants and lil' shoes. That's a no-brainer promise. ;)
