Don't get complacent. A new AWB is unlikely, but if there is even a chance then we have to be ready to fight back.

Realistically, I think they see the furor over EBR's dying down by the day. As people calm down the general public seems to be cooling to more laws while only the gun control lobby is still frothing at the mouth. Shades of Aurora again.

Still, Obama is an ideologue, so don't underestimate him.

Just because I'm hopeful doesn't mean anything I do has changed. Grabbed my 3rd AR the Tues after, and ammo is a constant purchase. I need to stop with the gun related stuff and work on "sustain yourself" items soon.

The best thing we can do is let our congressmen know exactly how we feel. Chances are they're not even considering new gun legislation. We just need to put them over the top on that.
