Default Mark Witaschek guilty of possessing muzzleloader bullets in D.C.

FYI - District of Columbia

This is just for lead rounds and sabots for a muzzleloader and they even discussed the 12 gauge shotgun shell. WTH has this country come too.

This is not the United States of America I know of and this is coming from the nations seat of power!

The man is treated like a sex offender! This case should have been tossed.

MILLER: Exclusive — Shock verdict — Mark Witaschek guilty of possessing muzzleloader bullets in D.C.

Quote:
In a surprising twist at the end of a long trial, a District of Columbia judge found Mark Witaschek guilty of “attempted possession of unlawful ammunition” for antique replica muzzleloader bullets.

Judge Robert Morin sentenced Mr. Witaschek to time served, a $50 fine and required him to enroll with the Metropolitan Police Department’s firearm offenders’ registry within 48 hours.

Lead balls. By themselves as dangerous as fishing sinkers or wheel weights. Ball bearings, rocks.

Problem in DC is that most of the criminal element wears suits and make the rules that the rest of us are forced to live by. Failure to comply will result in getting to experience "Use of Force" as practiced by our Glorious Leaders.

That judge and all prosecuters should lose their jobs and all licensing to practice law. That's just blind incompetance.

Agreed that they should all lose their jobs, but I am thinking that it was not incompetence but instead deliberate action to protect themselves.

No one in their right minds could even begin to think that the gun control laws in DC are for anything but to protect government parasites from the wrath of the citizenry. We all know that John Lot is right, more guns = less crime. However, more guns in this case may cause the lunatic Progressives some sleepless nights wondering if perhaps they have pushed the citizenry a bit too far.

Think about it, in major cities with the worst firearms laws the politicos are the worst thugs and criminals, most times even worse then the run of the mill Gangsta types out raping and murdering with impunity. They operate knowing that they are immune to the consequences of their outrageous acts.

Where the Citizen can not resist is where Tyranny flourishes.

Needs an appeal, This is directly contrary to the DC ordinances- the definition of ammunition is directly above the definition of ANTIQUE FIREARM. A first year law student should prevail on this one.
