Auto plants (like ford) strip down EVERYTHING to "retool" in about a month and that includes the rebuild. Now we are talking about a huge undertaking...I mean MASSIVE, but, they arent moving out of state either.

I suspect start to finish 3 months +/- a month once they begin unless they simply build a new plant and use their current facility until the new one is ready. That would be more like a month from the time the ball is set in motion.

I understand this....I was just stating that even corporations that are huge can shut down and move everything out in no time flat....so it wouldn't be unbelievable to conceive magpul doing it in a relative short amount of time.

Magpul should come to Central Florida. Many folks in the business are located here, including a Colt facility, KAC, and Kel-Tec to make a few. It's not as big as the NE regarding number of companies in the gun business, but it's pretty big. It's also a micro silicon valley w/ many other job ops for spouses/loved ones.

I mean think about it. No state income tax, GREAT weather, little gun control BS, and.........beaches are never more than maybe 30-45 mins away! I don't think Magpul would have to "convince" any employees to move to sunny Central FL.

I understand the definition of "transfer" is as little as lending someone a magazine of greater then 15 rounds. Or at a competition, picking up one a competitor has dropped in order to hand the magazine to him.

On the downside, you have a lot of ex-NY socialist JINOs in FL now, what's that fish-lipped congress-gals name? Wassenuglier or something, Gabby Gifford's "pal"?

That plus a demographic that just appeals to the Dems "chicken in every pot buy their votes" machine.

Magpul is moving and will be up and running in 30 days they say I live in Colorado and am ashamed at what they have done. Seems our politicians could care less what we think they don't even listen. Our sheriffs have already stated that they will not even enforce the laws and are filing suits against the bills to the Colorado Supreme Court it's not over yet

Nfafan, you got jack a$$es in every state. Yes, as of late FL has attracted a lot of people not welcome like our chief, that lady from Jacksonville who wants anger management classes to buy ammo, Sen Nelson hates guns, etc. We do have a lot to offer though for a company like MagPul.

It's too bad we can't create a utopia for all the antis to go to so we can be left alone to live our lives.

If I were moving a plant to a Gun friendly state it would certainly not be Florida. Florida voted for Obama in both of his elections. This would be very risky there has to be too many Liberals on those beaches.
