Default Magazine Capacity Bill Passes CO House

Gunowners in CO are in danger of having NY style gun control forced on them. Out of state blissninnies have moved to CO in droves and changed the political landscape. The CO house has passed a bill to limit magazine capacity. It was a voice vote. The Republicans in the CO house may demand a recorded vote.

Quote:
After about 6 hours of debate, members of the Colorado House on Friday afternoon gave preliminary approval of a bill banning high-capacity ammunition magazines that hold more than 15 rounds.

"An overwhelming majority of Coloradans support limiting these high-capacity ammunition magazines and it's our job in the legislature to implement the will of the people," said House assistant Majority Leader Dan Pabon, D-Denver.

Republicans could force a roll call vote later today on the bill, otherwise a final House vote will be taken on Monday. Democrats control the House 37-28, though not all party members were on board with passing a measure to ban high-capacity ammunition magazines.

If these states keep screwing around with the guns/accessories, the states may be loosing some revenue on people taking vacations. May just find somewhere else to go.

Two 15 round magazines taped together with a 1 second flip to load the second magazine-so what is the point of this ban? It's going to do what good in stopping crime?

From Fox 31 news out of Denver.

Manufacturers are threatening to move out of state and take the jobs with them.

Democrats love the job killing pattern!

Republicans also focused attention on Boulder-based Magpul Industries, the $400 million magazine manufacturer now threatening to leave Colorado if this ban becomes law; and, five hours into the debate, the House GOP informed reporters that a Magpul supplier, Alfred Manufacturing, may also have to move its Denver plant, and 150 jobs there, to another state.

Democrats amended the bill to allow Magpul to continue to manufacture high-capacity magazines in Colorado for sale in other states, but the company remained opposed to the ban.

That's what happens when "pro-development" local governments try to import new businesses from cesspools like New Yuck and Kommiefornia.

Ya get enough new immigrants in and first thing ya know, you're Kalifornicated.
