list of firearms registered to you
I am from Kentucky and I don't know if there are different laws for different states, but does anyone know where can I get a list of firearms that are registered in my name?

First, welcome to the forum. Most new members stop by the introductions section and cordially make acquaintance.
Second, yes, each state has different laws regarding firearms registration. Most do not have an official registration process. I'm not sure about Kentucky, but if you had to submit registration above and beyond the paperwork filled out during the purchase from an FFL process then you should know.
Third, how would you not know what firearms you have purchased?
Fourth, there is no registry on the national level. The FFL you have purchased from has to keep records of sales.
Fifth, how would you not know what firearms you have registered?
Come to think of it, how many have you registered?

I know what guns I have registered in my name and where I bought them. I'am going through a divorce and my husbands wants to take guns that I purchased for myselfe before I even knew him. And I have no reciepts for some of them.

Ahh, I see. Well, go to where you bought them. The FFL seller has to keep records. I really don't think that Kentucky has any actual registration so the sales records is what you need. Buying one through an FFL is not registration. But, you do need to talk to an attorney. We here at the FTF failed the BAR exam many times over.
Sorry to hear about the divorce.

I'm sorry I can't offer anything more than that. There are extremely knowledeable members here, but legal advice is not our specialty as a whole.
Keep us in the loop as we don't want to see anyone lose any firearms in a divorce. What's yours is yours and what's his is his in my book.

Hang on to your guns Ashley.

My question is if you have guns and you're getting a divorce wh doesn't he simply just "disappear"
Hopefully everything works out okay for you.

There is no gun registeration here in Ky. At best you will have to go to each place you bought the gun from and see if they will go back in the records and get the info you need.

Is there anyone you can "sell" your guns to until everything is finalized? If you are in separation, it should be easy to move them. Also contact the sellers of the guns bought after the marriage ceremony. Make a list (including serial numbers) and present it as joint acquired property.
Rumors have been around about a 2007 Corvette for $500. The reason it was so cheap, the husband and wife have to split things or sell things and give the other spouse half.
