Last night in Chicago...........

Obama was in Chicago last night where he began his campaign for his re-election. There were three fund raisers that took in two million dollars. Yep, two million dollars in one night.........three Chicago fundraisers in one night. Hey, and guess what........his campaign headquarters will be here in Chicago! Traffic was messed up all over the North Shore last night, closing streets for the Prez to pass through the streets.

No surprise he brought in that kind of money in the home of the Fourth Reich!

i was driving back from mundelein(nothern il suburb), south down 294 (which goes right by ohare airport) wednesday morning and saw the the 3 chinooks escorting the two presidential choppers right into ohare....then pondering what the hell is he in town for....

kind of a surreal setting or picture considering the costs they continue to endure (and force on the public) as a government while struggling to even agree as how to continue funding the nonsense....

Was that the one with the lovely soundbites about the GOP?

Obama caught on audio slamming GOP - Yahoo! News

"I said, 'You want to repeal health care? Go at it. We'll have that debate. You're not going to be able to do that by nickel-and-diming me in the budget. You think we're stupid?'" the president reportedly said.

"Put it in a separate bill," the president said he told House Speaker John Boehner and his staff. "We'll call it up. And if you think you can overturn my veto, try it. But don't try to sneak this through."

from the Yahoo article.

HaHa dumbarse; check your mic next time. :p

Are you kidding? 1.) I'm too broke to afford those fundraisers (though I wouldn't want to.) 2.) I try to avoid crowds like that at all costs. 3.) I had to be at work by 2100. 4.) I live about 65 miles west of Chicago and only occasionally go into "The City".

I work too hard for my money and need just about every penny I earn so I'm highly unlikely to be giving it away to someone who is projected to earn a billion dollars for a campaign fund.

There's two reasons we shouldn't vote for B.O.:

1)We can't afford it.

2)We can't afford it.

Let's get this putz out of office before he and Hillary completely

shred our "Living Document"...

Please notice the "budget cuts" They cut the pay for our soldiers! the very backbone that protects our nation, Why don't they take a pay cut,do you realize there are some people in congress that have more than 3 million dollars in assets? also to you know that when a member of congress retires he gets full pay till he dies his wife get 250,000 dollars a year and they never pay in to the social security fund nor pay for medical care, what entitles then to such high wages they can not even run the government.!!!

So, when an elected official uses government stuff like A) Air Force one B) Marine One C) secret service....does that come out of the campaign contributions?
