Join and support Gun Owners of America. They don't play politics with the Second Amendment like the NRA does.

GOA and JPFO are excellent in this regard.

That said, there's no harm in being an NRA member also.

Well, let's make up OUR minds, shall we?

Personally, I hold membership in

NRA,GOA,NAGR, and SAF. This isn't cheap, and it's hard to expect

many to join multiple groups. Now, if we can't get

people to pay to join ONE organization, HOW are

we going to get them to join two, or more?

But all quibbling over which organization to join just

lets people set back and do what they always do,

procrastinate and let others handle it.

Perhaps new leadership is needed in the NRA.

Allow Obama in for a 2nd term and you can kiss your guns good bye forever! It is time to get political and working on sending Obama to the unemployment line!

Who gets blamed for the trafficking of guns into Mexico? You, Me and the 2nd Amendment. Obama is telling lies about us and the Liberals are believing him.

Have you seen what the Brady Campaign is saying about us? Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence : Home

It's time to Mass on the D.C. Capital grounds and demand an end to Obama Draconian methods and educate American to the positive aspects of Gun Rights.

People who do not know guns, fear guns. Take a Newbie to the shooting range.

Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are inevitably ruined.
Patrick Henry
I don't agree with the guys politics AT ALL but he's not going to do anything significant regarding taking our guns away. He has too many things on his plate to worry about than attacking our gun rights.

Also as much as nobody on a gun forum wants to here this
HE'S GOING TO GET RE-ELECTED

The GOP stands no chance at all of getting back into the oval office unless a conservative profit that can rock the mic like Reagan suddenly appears from nowhere and it has yet to be seen.
I'll be shocked if we don't get 4 more years of this crap

We don't have a large income, so our money has to be spent carefully. However, what price should I put on my freedom? What is my Second Amendment/God given right to defend my wife and myself worth?

I belong to the NRA, GOA , Gun Owners of California and the Calguns Foundation. That adds up to around $100. a year. It costs me about that amount or more in ammunition on one trip to the range.

Read the book "Unintended Consequences" by John Ross. It's out of print now and if you find a copy, it's ridiculously expensive. However, it can be found and downloaded or read online. Please read it, it will open your eyes and it's amazingly accurate for the times.

Obama does actually stand a chance of getting re-elected. As sick as that is, it is true if the republicans nominate another ass-hat like McCain. We will need a strong candidate who will appeal to the swing voters. A lot of people are getting fed up with things the way they are, but watch, gas prices are going to come down and Obama will say "see what I did?" "And I got Bin Laden!! How wonderful am I!!" That snow-job, combined with the ignorance of the masses, and yeah he has a good chance.

As far as a complete gun ban? Never happen! I am concerned with his "common sense gun laws" though, they WILL try to nibble away at our rights. All I can say is be active, send your congress critters e-mails, snail mails, sign petitions etc. My gun grabbin congress critters are Menendez and Laughtenberg!! Two of the biggest anti's out there, none-the-less, I send them letters all the time.

If you can afford it, and you want to help bolster the membership numbers of the NRA, try giving GIFT MEMBERSHIPS!! They may not join on their own, but it is still another member in the ranks.

I have concerns about ALL of our rights, not just 2A, although the Second is the most important of all of them, why do you think they try so hard to take it away? I don't see them going after the other Rights the way they do the Second, yet. That is because we still have our guns!!

It is not a matter of osamaobama instituting gun control under whatever guise he chooses to use. Nor him getting re-elected to office, but rather what we do with the House, Senate, and Congress. If we allow them to fall back into the hands of the social-ist then you may have a problem.

If osamaobama signs an executive order banning any private gun ownership the real question is, “will you abide by his law or will you resist with armed force if necessary?
