Illinois House Bill 1294, 1599 & 1855
 

I was watching the 10 o'clock news. Illinois residents need to take a look at this link. These proposals are completely ridiculous! :mad::mad::mad:

The People's Republic of Chicago runs the entire state...into the ground.

I went thru all the IL representatives today that were on my IL general assembly list and 6 want the AR/ semi auto ban, I may have missed one or 2 not 100% sure . Most all of these are from Chicago and one of them is some how in my district in Central IL . not sure how that happened unless it was a mis print . With only 6 I have to believe this will never happen. 48 of them are for concealed carry , Lets atleast hope we can get it next time around . Its tought battling ****cago

I don't even live there and it ticks me off...Sounds like the inmates are running the asylum...

I was telling a buddy of mine about it. He kinda knew about it; he got a letter from the NRA about it.

Mark Walsh was the one that channel 15 spoke to about it. They said he was the one ram-rodding the bills.

Can you give us a synopsis of the article? I'm truly concerned
about your gun rights in Illinois. Wish we could be of some help
to you folks. You are always welcome in Georgia. I'm sure I speak
for all the states who recognize YOUR and MY 2A rights!

@etbob9: From what I gathered from the article and the news report. Any semi-automatic gun (pistol, shotgun, rifle) would be reclassified as an 'assult weapon' in the class of fully automatic guns. That would leave just single shot guns legal (bolt action, revolers, pump etc). Plus we would not be able to possess 50cal rifles or ammo let alone purchase.

There are 6 IL state representatives ram rodding this ,so if one is in your area dont give them any support or a vote

When you elect Democrats and Liberals year after year what do you expect? Ill. does not like most Eastern states put up hard fights but tend to deal with the Liberals who always win. ILL is the only state with Zero CCW rights. :rolleyes:
