thanks! i went back and re-read it...i need to slow down my reading of these articles it would seem.

I thought the medical industry had stopped doing lobotomies. Evidently, I'm wrong, as that seems to be a prerequisite of joining the LA law enforcement units.

I remember the days when LAPD and CHP's were the envy of other agencies across the LEO communities.
This is embarrassing of them and sad if they don't feel it.

Not exactly true.......as you can stuff them with unsaftied grenades, hand them in a tree/overhead cover and rig them to spread the load when a trip wire is triggered......(GW 101) . OTOH, kinda cool, (and safe) toys for kids with an abundance of imagination and energy wanting to play "soldier" !
Of course it makes the weenies "childhood obesity" arguments all the better when kids can't burn off calories with "confrontational games" like dodge ball, basketball, soldier, commando, and anything else they can dream up outside adult PC organizing strictures !

Hell their only a one time use then they are just a tube, i figured that they would sell them at the surplus stores. They sell those hollowed out grenades by the boat load, whats the difference?
