Default Identify the Enemy

Our Republican House Finance Committee Chairman, formerly from New York has killed Constitutional Carry the last four years in concert with our Governor.
From accounts on the Hill, Bloomberg's People are there and in every State Legislature, passing our donations to get votes to kill pro Second Amendment Legislation and to promote anti Second Amendment Legislation and to represent or present anti Second Amendment Legislation written by Bloomberg's organizations.
A new Rep was presented with a check before he had even a chance to get his new office in order. He sent it back.
Every time a new piece of 2A Legislation proposed , someone calls Bloomberg's Boys and they show up to support opposition with money and create new opposition.
What I want to do is publish everyone that votes against pro 2A Legislation and or supports anti @A Legislation.
Revealing to the Voters in Tn who is against us and voting against 2A, would put an anchor around the necks of those agaisnt our Constitution whether for money reason and or anti Constitution reasons.
In this case it is money and anti American's Rights.
Two years ago the figure of $11,000,000.00 was tossed out as being generated by the "Poll Tax" or Permits and Application for a Carry Permit.
Currently it is $315.00 plus the Firearms Safety course cost of perhaps $90.00. It varies a lot.
For man and wife that amounts to somewhere around $800.00.
We have to adhere to a budget, since we are not wealthy, and that money is not there plus there is the principle.
This "Poll Tax' is designed to do just what the Poll Tax of the 19th century did: keep the majority of Citizens from exercising their Second Amendment Right.
So where is there to be found a data base or record of our State Elected Officials who have and are taking Bloomberg's money from all of his organizations.
Second how to get the record of who votes against us or prevents a vote, published all across the state .
The primary newspaprs in our four major markets are now Liberal, in general and oppose 2A.
If I or we can get these Traitors and our Champions names published, Tennesseans will turn out all of these Traitors voting against or preventing a vote for pro 2A Legislation, and associated with Bloomberg, out, of office permanently.

Bloomberg can only buy Politicians that are for sale. All Politics are local.

We even in Florida have a Republican State Senator who introduced a bill to ban "Military Style Assault Weapons" and high capacity magazines. I smell Bloomberg all over this as she allegedly has aspirations for higher office, such as Bill Nelson's Dem Senator spot..

I do not think her bill will get anywhere, but it is starting down here. As more anti gunners move here, it could turn the state. We are about 50/50 now for national elections.

I want nothing to do with a national carry law, particularly during President Trump's tenure.

the enemy is easily identified. any of those who support any type of gun ban, restrictions or laws. for the most part, these will be left leaning liberal Democrats.

join the NRA. donate to the NRA-ILA as much as possible. go on their website and review their candidate ratings for you elected representatives in your state. it's like a report card for where they stand or how they support our gun rights.

permit and training fees are another method of gun rights discrimination. as those unable to afford the fees are the ones left with fewer options as to how they may defend themselves. that was not the intent of the 2nd Amendment. it is, in way a tax to determine who can or can't carry a gun to defend themselves. several states even go as far as to have you register and pay fees to own a gun. so poor people should not be afforded the same rights to defend themselves?

personally, i'd like to see nationwide Constitutional Carry Law, that would be very similar to a state issued driver's license. able to travel freely between any state with a firearm without repercussions from the anti-gun liberal officials who would think that being a law abiding gun owner makes one a criminal.

If you want to start a website or a blog or something to document who votes for/against any particular type of legislation you may want to consider the following:

1. Find the official government record of who voted for what. Don't use some 3rd party reference.
2. Find out whether all votes in your government are done in the open (i.e. vote by name vs vote anonymously). If anonymous voting is possible (normal?), find out how a member of your Congress can move to require a vote by name on a particular bill. Then find a legislator who is willing to push for that every time a 2A related bill comes up.
3. Be very careful NOT to publish material that would degrade the credibility of the site. Devote that site strictly to the facts of who voted for/against what.
4. Such work will involve a lot of effort and a lot of close communication with your Congress critters if vote by name is not always done.

Personally I think our government should automatically publish that information for us on every bill that's passed.

By the way, there are already sites that expedite access to your Federal Congress representatives and to State representatives in several states. And a government site that shows how your Federal congress voted.

That information is regularly published on every vote in a forum called "newspapers".

Someone had the same idea back in about 1780.

Yes there are several online electronic sources for Federal voting. But not all States support that process yet.
