Identity theft happens and it can be extremely difficult to clear up. Sorry about your troubles.

Dont insult him.. your new to this forum he has every right to ask us for help. We have a lot of very knowledgeable individuals here.
My advice to the op, call around for a good lawyer that deals with identity fraud but stay calm and keep your head up brother!

Anytime anyone asks me for my birth date I give them my father's birth date.
He died a long time ago.
Safer that way.
We chased off a burglar the other day who was stealing car plates. Have you checked her car plates lately? Is one of them gone?
It is most likely someone is running around with one of her car tag plates on their own car, and the traffic camera got them. A LEO would ask for a car registration and would not fall for this ploy. Go check and see if she still has both plates on her car.
Usually they will steal the front one, so you don't do anything about it.
What you need to do is call the phone number of the court clerk and talk to him/her. Then tell them the make and model of car, and color, and it should be different from the traffic cam photograph. Better yet, don't tell them at first, ask them what info they have for the car on the warrant. THEN tell them your make and model to disprove it.

We have a person who's sole job it is to clear up these ID theft issues. This can happen if an officer is too busy or too lazy to check. If I stop someone who has no ID, I can check by name and Date of Birth, but I am going to ask a number of questions in an attempt to confirm the ID.
I have Texas DL photo access. I get officers all the time asing for a DL photo. I run what they have and forward the DL pic via message or e-mail so they can confirm ID on the spot.
