Default How many politicians have guards or carry?

It would be interesting to find out just how many of our representatives either have armed guards or carry themselves. I bet it would it would end up as a classic "do as I say, not as I do" kind of thing. Just like the ones that say that we don't need health care reform... all we are asking for is the same thing they have.

There is this thing called the Freedom of Information Act.

Or you could send a card to each and ask them directly. It is an interesting idea!

I'm venturing to say most if not all of them have some kind of protection.

I am pretty sure that Feinstein and Schumer have a CCW permit. I know that they used to.

Ironic isn't it?
They represent us, but are afraid of us.

They're not afraid of us, they are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay smarter & waaaaaaaaaaaaay more important than any of us ever will be. They deserve to be more well protected than you or me!

In wisconsin its not illegal to ccw and be in the gallery while the state legislature is in session.

The conservatives here do carry in session and they arent afraid of letting the people do the same in the people's house

Its kinda nice having a crop of legislators that arent total scumbags for a change

Current governor of Maine has a concealed carry license. He proudly displayed it for the news earlier this week.

I guarantee you every one of them is protected by guns in some way, shape, form, or fashion. Some even have guards armed with full auto SMGs.

Rumor has it that Winestain has actually committed a straw purchase in the past. She supposedly has bought a hunting rifle for her son who was denied by the NICS check. I'll try to find verification.

ETA: it appears it was Sarah Brady, and she just bypassed the background check, not necessarily that her son was denied. I'm still digging the interwebs.

The "elite" in this country are rapidly approaching pre-revolution French attitude levels. We know how that turned out. Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.
