I have installed steel security doors on my house. That should slow who ever down.

It's for criminals.

I do not, and never have had any reason to fear the police. They're the good guys.

I know. I was one of them!
So was I, and I am still involved with LE, but times they are a changin, and not for the better!!!
I see it even in rural AL where the local LE is BECOMING militarized.
When I was on TEU (SWAT) you had to have at least 5 years on the street to even apply. The guys here have less than a year on and they are in SWAT! This will come back and bite them BIG TIME!
We did not use the team for every little thing that come up just because we could, there was a procedure and criteria which had to be met before we were called on to ply our trade. I saw this change even before I retired.
This over militarization of LE is not a good thing!!!

The "hit" team is going to have to shoot the dogs way out by the road before they get anywhere near the house... That will wake us up, and give us enough time to hide the doughnuts.....when the cops cant find them, they will just move on to the next house.

That will work for us 'old' cops, but not the new guys. They will not even stop at a doughnut shop for fear of the 'image'! Like I said, times they are a changin!

[QUOTE=Jagermeister;1333957]I would love to go to a real American doughnut shop myself. [

If your ever in the Cincy area i will take you to the greatest doughnut shop ever. Its a family run 70yr old shop in a little town a few miles from my house. Their glazed, creme horns, and apple fritters are the best you will ever find. If you go by there 3am, you will roll your windows down, and let the wonderful smell coming from that building flow in....

What's the name? I have been looking for just such a beast in Cincy! I hate all the chain garbage and want a family run place!
